Heyyy Everyoneeeeeeee!!!!!!!!! Long time no postttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Super Hyper) Anyways, i've not been visting my blog lately becuz i was kinda busy with this cosplaying stuff, so ya... But its over now, and back to BLOGGING~!!!
So ya, on sunday there was this anime festival asia 2010 held in singapore. And so ya, i went there with my cousin and 2 other Frens, and i cosplayed there too~!!! ^^ Lol, it was my first time cosplaying, and i cosplayed as shana from shakugan no shana~!!! ^^ It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUNNNNNNN!!!!! Of course, at first i was so scard, but i soon got used to it ^^ So ya, i'll tell you everything about my first experience on cosplaying~ ^^
So ya, before i got to the event, my mum helped me with the makeup. I was like so so so afraid of all those products that i kept asking my mum not to put tooo much powder or foundation or whatever you call that. In the end, i was freakishly shocked when i looked at the mirror... I looked like a doll... T.T But what can i say? I juz thanked her, and ya, off i go, wearing a cap to cover my face, lol! In the MRT, my friends kept saying my makeup is vanishing, and i was like "huh??? Really?? Howw??????" I was so anxiouse... In the end, i ended up in watson and my frens were like experimenting on the makeup tester... Lol... They wanted me to try on the tester... In the end, there wasn't much changes to my face, lol... =.=
So at about 2.00pm, we went to suntec city shopping mall, and that was when i changed into my shana costume. If i'm not wrong, there were some people who were actually looking at me when i was struggling to put on the darm wig, haha, but i juz ignored them... I was juz too fustrated with my wig =.= Luckily, there was 2 other cosplayers, older then me, who helped me with my wig ^^ So ya, after the LONG CHANGING of shana's costume and the wearing of the wig, i took my sword, and got out of the toliet. As i was out of the toliet through the shopping mall, Poeple were looking at me =///= My cousin held my hand as i was walking, so ya, that gives me more confidence, heehee... And the best part is, i did not wear my spect, so ya, can't really see much, lol! The area was really croweded when i reached there! As i got up on the escalator to the event area, someone started taking a photo of me. I was like "WTH..." In my mind. I mean, i was walking, and he toook a photo... Lol... And then that was when i started to think "I will not take anymore photos!!!!" Haha, but i was so wrong... My cousin started to ask me to pose and take photo, no problems! It was my cousin afterall who is taking a photo. But then a group of photographers suddenly took photos of me. I really have no idea where they came from, but they juz kept snapping and snapping! Arghhh!!! So i really tried my best to pose, and i stood there quite long, haha, and soon i got tired of the same pose, and i changed pose, then i thought, its not that bad afterall... Lol~! So ya, after all the photo taking "session" My cousin went up to me and said she was quite surprise to see so many photographers, lol. I was so relieved that everything was over, haha ^^ So after that, we all went to buy tickets. Me and my cousin waited for my other 2 frens to get the ticket. So at that time, some people wanted to take a photo with me. So ya, i posed and posed, haha... Then suddenly, there was this guy who wanted to take a photo together with me, haha. He asked "Are you cosplaying the anime shakugan no shana?" And i replied "Uhh... Ya~!" Then he said "Uhh... Becuz i'm really a fan of shakugan no shana, so... would you mind if i take a photo together with you?" Lol, i never really thought someone would wanne take a photo with me, haha, but ya. So i said "Sure!" and then ya, i posed, and snapped! then other photograhers started coming again T.T .... During that time, my frens came back from buying the tickets and they so happenned to see me taking a photo together with a guy, and they were like "Ooooohh~~ Rena~~~ Ooooohhh~~~ Taking photo with a guy~~~ Ohhh~~" Wth sia... =.=" Lol! I mean, come on! I'm cosplaying! So ya, we went into the Exibition hall, and it was PARADISE~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANIME PARADISE~~~!!!!!!! Yayyyyyyy!!!!!!! Omg!!!! It was super awesome!!!!!!! I enjoyed myself there, and i saw alot of cosplayers too! Coool! There was a board where you can actually draw anything you want, and i drew, lol! There were so many great artiest who draw soooooooo well on the board! Cool! ^^ So ya, then there was this digital art where you can DRAW ANIME IN THE COMPUTER~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARHHH!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT THAT~!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously! That was soooooo coooool!!! It was my dream to do that! Drawing anime in the computer~!!!! So ya, i tried to draw, but it was tough... really... I mean it was difficult to control the digital pen, but at least i got the experience! Yay! So ya, i went throught the hall, and there were soooooo many anime stuff, like anime music, vocaloid game, anime dupping, cosplayers role playing, anime figures, drawings, digital drawing, anime posters on sale, anime cars(Omg... that was really cool...) and MANY MORE!!!! Omg! It was simply paradise! I enjoyed myself!!! But the onli thing bad is that it was totally croweded, and sometimes, i don't get to see what i want T.T I was like being washed away in the stream of people who were walking... Lol... But it was fun still. In the end, my cousin together with me, were being seperated with my 2 other frens... So ya, my cousin and i could not find them both, and we were both tired also, so we decieded to rest at a stair case and wait for my 2 other frens. So ya, i tried to get in contact with them via handphone. While doing that, the guy, whom i took a photo with, saw me at the stair case. Lol... He said he actually looked all over for me... Uhh... Wait... What? At first i was like shocked, but then i rmb... he is a shakugan no shana fan, haha, its normal to chase after the cosplayer who is cosplaying your favourite anime, rite? Then he asked why didnt i join the rest of the cosplayers and have photoshots. I replied i was tired, haha. Then he started asking where i got the sword from. I juz said i DIY. Well... Its true that i sort of "DIY" the sword. The sword is actually from my brother. He bought the sword for aikido training in the past. The sword is a real aikido sword with the same weight of a jap sword, heehee. So ya, since my bro never use it anymore, my father helped me to paint the sword, and WOW! It really looked like a jap sword! Juz that it is made of wood, haha. The guy started taking pictures of it, and i was like "Seriously..." But of course i did not say that, haha. Its an hornor to have my sword being takened photo of~! So ya, then that guy with his fren left, and i continued sitting there, trying to comprehend what juz happened, haha. Then ya, finally we met with my other 2 frens, and stared eating melon bread!!! Haha!!! Shana's favoruite! I bought my frens and my cousin each a melon bread too~! ^^ So ya, then we left the whole event and go home... It was really really a fun day to have, and part of my dream to cosplay also came true~! And my dream to visit an ANIME FESTIVAL TOOO~~!!! KYAAAA~!!!!!

Lol, that was the guy(Beside me) who is really a big fan of shakugan no shana. Once again... I'm bad at cosplaying.... T.T
